أنا أسمي "فاطمة".. بنت سودانية مصرية.. لوني أسمر غامق.. النهاردة اليوم الأول.. وأنا بلبس عشان أروح شغلي.. ماكنتش عايزة أحط "ميك- أب" بس قررت إني أعمل كده عشان أتجمل والناس تشوف جمالي الأسمر في أحسن شكل ليه.. لبست على مهلي لأني مش بحب ألبس وأنزل على استعجال.. وكالعادة قبل ما أنزل حطيت السماعات في وداني علشان ما أسمعش تعليقات الناس السخيفة بخصوص لوني أو شكل الإفريقي.
"ركبت المترو في عربية السيدات كالمعتاد.. وزي ما بيحصل دايما بقيت أنا فرجة في عربية السيدات كالمعتاد.. وزي ما بيحصل دايما أنا فرجة في المترو وكأني من كوكب تاني، اللي بتراقب وهي مستغربة واللي بتبصلي بقرف وكأني جربانة مثلاً واللون الأسمر ده من كتر الجلخ واللي بتبص باعجاب وتقول الله بنت سمرا.. لكن.. حلوة قوي.. وكأن اللي لونه أسمر فرض عليه أنه يكون شكله وحش وأنا اللي كسرت القاعدة؟.. وأنا خارجة من المترو في اسعاف في كنيسة موجودة بيكتر فيها الأفارقة تقوم واحدة كده شكلها متدينة ومحترمة ولابسة إسدال تقول إيه؟ لقيتها بتقول: "والله اللي بيحصل ده حرام السود دول ملوا البلد"!
