تناولتُ في هذا الكتاب الجنسَ من بابه العريض والضيّق، دخلتُ في تفاصيل العلاقات الانسانيّة والعاطفيّة، اختبرتُ مختلف مراحلها، ثمّ دخلتُ في تفاصيل العلاقة الجنسيّة البحتة.
ولشدّة حماسي، ما اعترتني رهبةٌ ولا انتابني تردّدٌ ولا احتجتُ لجُرأة إضافيّة لأطرق ما طرقت .. ومع ذلك كنتُ حريصاً بشدّة على ألّا تحتوي هذه الدراسة على جملة واحدة، فيها شيءٌ من الإسفاف أو الهبوط، وهذا ما كان.
لقد أثلجت صدري ردود فعل المُقرّبين، بأنّه على العكس فالحديث عن الجنس هنا يجري من أجل إنصافه ووضعه بمكانه اللائق و الجدير به.
