نعم انا من قتل ربكم الاعلى انا من قتل "قائم الزمان" و صى الله لاهوتكم المقدس بتلك العبارات تفوه رجل رث الثياب شعث الشعر مستقيم البدن و كان ذلك فى حضرة امير المؤمنين فزاغت ابصار القوم حوله و لمعت عينا الامير حتى استقام من مجلسه مقبلا عليه فى غضب و كاد يخرج شرره من بين عينيه و توجه اليه قائلا بنبرة علاها الحسم و الحسم كأنما يتجهز للفتك به. "ماذا قلت؟" فعاجله الرجل قائلا :" نعم قتلت ربكم" و مد يده الى جوال يحمله فأخرج منه فروة رأس قد أنتنت و ثوبا قد اهترأ به أثر دم منبجس و موضع طعن فألقاها فى صحن الحضرة فهلع القوم لما يرون و تناقلت ابصارهم حديثا جفت السنتهم عن ذكره ثم اردف الرجل قائلا:" تلك فروة رأس قائم زمانكم وهذه ثيابه", ثم اخرج خنجرا من ذهب محلى قائلا:" و بهذا طعنت ربكم ولاهوتكم اتدرون كيف ؟" فى ذهول من الحضور و عجب غلب الغضب عند امير المؤمنين, تعاورته نظرات القوم عجبا و حنقا حتى اكمل الرجل كلامه, و استل خنجره و طعن نفسه فى قلبه قائلا :" قتلته هكذا حسبة لله" و هو يتناوب الطعنات لجسده واحدة تلو الاخرى, حتى سقط صريعا بين يدى امير المؤمنين و فى حضرة جلاله و على مرأى من حاجب الدولة و اعيانها و امير الجيوش و كبرائها خر الرجل صريعا و هو يلفظ مع انفاسه الاخيرة جملته الاخيرة : "حسبة لله...حسبة لله"
