وهذا الكتاب قدم علم السياسة بثوب مختلف عن ما كُتب عنه في القرن الماضي، من حيث المنظور التحليلي لمقوماته ومناهجه ومداخل التحليل ونظرياته المختلفة.
إن علم السياسة وإهتماماته يخضع إلى طبيعة التغيرات والمتغيرات التي تصاحب الفاعلين في تفاعلاتهم السياسة سواء أفراداً أو جماعات أو دول أو مؤسسات ومنظمات، ولكن يظل علم السياسة مجالاً متحركاً له المقدرة على التأقلم مع التغيرات والمتغيرات التي يصنعها السلوك البشري والدول.
