يُقال إن الكلب يتعلق بصاحبه، والقط يتعلق بمنزله، فهل هذا صحيح؟ فالدخول إلى عالم الحيوانات الأليفة الداخلي لا يختلف كثيراً عن الدخول إلى عالم البشر الداخلي ولكن الفارق الوحيد بينهما أن البشر يستطيعون التعبير عما يخالجهم من مشاعر، أما القطط فهي تبعث برسائل وما علينا نحن البشر إلا فك شيفراتها؛ (ميااااووووو...) وهو ما حاولت الكاتبة التركية "أويا بيدر" قوله في عملها الروائي المميز «رسائل القطط». إن المبهج في هذه الرواية أن أبطالها من القطط لم تتوقف لحظة عن بعث رسائلها، لتقول لنا؛ بأنها هي أيضاً مثل البشر. تحب وترغب، وتخلص وتصدق، تماماً كما حصل مع بطلة حكايتنا القطة "نينا"، مع القط "بارسيفال"؛ أو ذَكرٍ عرفته، وأوّل حبّ كبير، وأوّل عشق لها. كان حلماً جميلاً قبل أن تأخذه صاحبته إلى مكان آخر ... ولم يتبق من ذكراه إلا رسالة شمّيّة تُركت لـ "نينا" أمام الباب. أو بالأحرى، هي عبارة عن فقرة موجزة: "حبيبتي نينا! ما عشتُه معك لم أعشه مع قطة أنثى غيرك. لقد أحببْتك كثيراً حقاً، وأنا سعيد لأنّني ختمت حياة عشقي معك. لا تبحثي عنّي مرة أخرى...".
ورواية «رسائل القطط» هي في النهاية إعادة تمثيل رمزي للواقع وليس انعكاساً له أو تأسيس واقع موازٍ، وإنما هي محاولة لتأسيس خطاب روائي له آليات اشتغال متخفية، في نص سردي عالي الجودة تقدمه "أويا بيدر" إلى متذوقي الأدب.
