من أرق القصائد وأعذبها قصائد الحب التى تركها لنا قدماء المصريين، وترجع معظم هذه القصائد الى ما يزيد على 3500 سنة، وهى من التراث الأدبى لعصر الدولة الحديثة، وقد كتبت بالهيراطيقية على برديات واوستراكا مودعة حاليآ بالمتحف المصرى بالقاهرة والمتحف البريطانى ومتحف تورينو وتمثل هذه المجموعة محاولة لنقل هذه القصائد الى العربية فى صياغة شعرية حرة تستلهم النص لتعيد لهذه القصائد طلاوتها ونضارتها ولتبرز ما فيها من احاسيس جياشة ولوعة وأشتياق وبهجة، والقصائد فى مجموعها، ترنيمات وأغانى يعبر فيها المحبون عن عواطفهم فى لغة تباغتنا بتواصل لغة الحب من الماضى للحاضر، وتتخطى هذه القصائد مساحات التاريخ الشاسعة لتشرق علينا من الأطلال وحلكة الماضى السحيق كنجوم زاهرة وأزهار فواحة وطيور برية زاهية الألوان تحط إلينا من شاطئ بعيد لتمنحنا البهجة والأمل ولتقوى إيماننا بقدرة الحب على العطاء.
