يتناول كتاب ”الأسرة العربية في عالم متغير” بعض التحديات التي تواجهها الأسرة العربية في مجتمع العولمة، ومنها قضايا التماسك الأسري، والشراكة الأسرية، والاتجار بالبشر عن طريق الزواج القسري للفتيات القاصرات، والضوابط التي يمكن أن تواجه بها الأسرة انحرافات النشء. كما يتعرض الكتاب لعدد من القضايا التي تتعلق بأوضاع المرأة داخل الأسرة العربية، من ناحية التنوع الثقافي، والنقود ومصادر الدخل، والإسهام في الاقتصاد، والتمييز الثقافي، والتنمية الثقافية في الوطن العربي، وتعليم المرأة، وإسهامها في العمل المدني، وجدل الأنوثة والثقافة في تحديد شخصية المرأة.
