يشكّل كتاب "الدبلوماسي بين السلوك ونظام القيم" للسفير ميشال حدّاد دليلًا على كلّ دبلوماسي لبناني أن يقتنيه لما يحتويه هذا الكتاب من قواعد سلوك تُساعد الدبلوماسيين في أداء مهامهم على نحوٍ سليم ذلك أن الدبلوماسي هو واجهة لبنان في الدول المعتمد لديها. يقترح هذا الكتاب إضافة إلى نظام القيم والسلوك الواجب أن يتمتّع بها الدبلوماسي، إنشاء معهدٍ دبلوماسي خاص مشابه لمعهد القضاة، حيث يتدرّج الدبلوماسي لفترة زمنية قبل إرساله إلى الخارج. إذ بحسب الكاتب لا يكفي الشخص الذي خضع لامتحانٍ لوظيفةٍ في السلك الدبلوماسي أن ينجح لكي يصير دبلوماسيًا إذ من دون قواعد سلوك وتدريبٍ خاص لا يمكن للدبلوماسي النجاح في أداء مهامه وفي تكثيل بلده. يوقّع السفير ميشال حدّاد كتابه في جناح الدار في المعرض يوم الثلاثء 13 آذار 2018 من الساعة الرابعة ولغاية الساعة السابعة مساءً.
