هذا الكتاب الذي يشكّل خلاصة أكثر من ثلاثة عقود من مداولات "الندوة اللبنانية" حول مفاهيم العلمانية والطائفية وفصل الدين عن الدولة، يبيّن أنّ العلمانيّة ليست بعيدة عن الفكر اللبناني والعربي والمشرقي، وأن ثمة "علمانية ما" يمكن أن يبلورها مفكّرو لبنان والمنطقة العربية وتصلح للبنان والمنطقة.
