محمود عكام (من مواليد 1952 في مدينة حلب) هو مفكر سوري؛ ومفتي محافظة حلب وَأستاذ محاضر في كليتي الحقوق والتربية في جامعة حلب؛ و خطيب الجامع الأموي الكبير فضلًا عن كونه عضوًا في اتحاد الكتاب العرب. يحملُ إجازةً في الشريعة الإسلامية من جامعة دمشق، وماجستير من جامعة السوربون في باريس ودكتوراه في الفكر الإسلامي السياسي من السوربون أيضًا، وقد أشرف على رسالته البروفيسور محمد أركون وعنوان الأطروحة: «الحاكمية والسلطة في الفكر الإسلامي السياسي في القرن الخامس الهجري. دراسة مقارنة بين السنة والشيعة».

الكتاب الحادي عشر من سلسلة محاضرات جادة وهادفة، يسعى فيه المؤلف إلى فهم معالم السيادة الحسنيَّة، التي نالها الإمام الحسن عليه السلام بتقليد من السيِّد المصطفى الأكرم صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إذ قال في سبطه: ’’إن ابني هذا سيد’‘، كما أخرج البخاري وغيره.
ومعالم السيادة هذه - كما بدت للمفكر المحبِّ - ثلاثة، هي العلم الحَسَني والحكمة الحَسَنية والخُلق الحَسَني.
أما قيادة الإمام السيِّد عليه السلام فاستوت قائمةً على ثلاثية نورانية، تجلَّت للتابع النبيه في القوة والجاذبية والحنكة. فطاب الحسن الإمام عليه السلام سيداً وقائداً.
