Book Description
إن العلماء الأمة الإسلامية عنايةً بالغةً بعلم الأنساب، فمنهم ألف في الأنساب عامةً كالسمعاني والرشاطي وغيرهما، ومنهم من ألّف في أنساب العرب خاصّة، كالبلاذري وغيره، ومن علماء النسب من ألف في أنساب أهل بلدٍ بعينه، كعبد الرحمن الأنصاري صاحب أصل هذا المختصر الذي بين أيدينا الذي قصره على أنساب أهل المدينة المنورة على ساكنها وآله أفضلُ الصلاةِ والسلام؛ وأصلُ هذا المختصر هو كتاب: "تحفة المحبين والأصحاب في معرفة ما للمدنيين من أنساب"، لمؤلفه عبد الرحمن بن عبد الكريم الأنصاري المدني (1124- 1995هــ).
ولاهمية هذا الكتاب قام الشيخ محمد محجوب بن أبي بكر العمري الحجّار، إمامُ الحرم النبوي الشريف وخطيبه، بإختصار كتاب "تحفة المحبين والأصحاب" مكتفياً بذكر 296 بيتاً من البيوتات المدنية التي ذكرها الشيخ الأنصاري، وتفرّد بذكر بيتٍ واحد وهو: بيت الديري الحساوي الذي ختم به كتابه، وهذه البيوت منها من انقرض من المدينة المنورة فقط.
وإتماماً للفائدة، اعتنى بتحقيق هذا الكتاب السيد محمد بن عبد الله آل رشيد حيث قام بما يلي: ترقيم البيوتات ترقيماً متسلسلاً، فبلغت 296 بيتاً، مقابلة مخطوطة المختصر على مطبوعة أصله، التعليق حيث دعت الحاجة، أثبت من تعليقات السيد جعفر بن هاشم الحسيني على نسخته ما كان له صلةٌ بالبيوتات التي ذكرها صاحب هذا المختصر.
