يتناول مسيرة عَلَم من أعلام الإسلام، لم يُعطَ حقه من الدرس والبحث، إنه الحسن بن علي ابن إسحاق الطوسي (408- 485هـ)، الملقب بـ (نظام المُلك) الوزير الأبرز في عهد الدولة السلجوقية.
من أهم أعماله فتح المدارس التي كانت تسمى النظاميات، وكانت له رعاية خاصة للعلماء فقد آوى العلماء في عهده إلى ظل ظليل ودعم العلم والعلماء، واهتم بشؤون الرعية، وقدم لهم العون المادي والسند المعنوي.
يسعى هذا الكتاب إلى تسليط الضوء على سيرة هذا الوزير الهُمام، وبيان أهم أعماله وإنجازاته خلال فترة إستيزاره.
