تبوأ جلال الدين السيوطي المتوفي سنة (911ه)، مكانة مرموقة بين العلماء المعاصرين له لما صنّفه من مؤلفات كثيرة ومختلفة ضمت كثيراً من الموضوعات في علوم اللغة العربية وآدابها، وانتهل من فنون المعرفة ما استطاع، وتبحّر في علوم التفسير والحديث والفقه والنحو والمعاني والبيان، فاختطف أنظار الباحثين والدارسين، وأشبعوه دراسة وبحثاً في شتى المجالات اللغوية والنحوية والبلاغية، ودُرست مصنفاته المتنوعة دراسة تحليلية.
ومن هذه الدراسات، تأتي دراسة المؤلفة نادية عبد الرضا الموسوي الموسومة بـ "الإعجاز البلاغي في القرآن" عند السيوطي في كتابيه الإتقان ومعترك الأقران)، لتدرس جهود جلال الدين السيوطي من جانب جديد ولتضيف إلى المكتبة السيوطية رافداً جديداً والتفاتة تكون ذات فائدة. وقد جاءت الدراسة في تمهيد وثلاثة فصول وخاتمة.
تحدث التمهيد عن الإعجاز لغة واصطلاحاً، وتتبع آراء العلماء السابقين في الإعجاز البلاغي وصولاً إلى الشيخ جلال الدين السيوطي وجهوده في الإعجاز البلاغي. وتناول الفصل الأول جهود السيوطي في (الإعجاز البلاغي في ضوء علم المعاني). أما الفصل الثاني فتحدث عن (الإعجاز البلاغي في ضوء علم البيان). وخصص الفصل الثالث من البحث للحديث عن (الإعجاز البلاغي في ضوء علم البديع).
