استل سيفه الأسود ووضعه مباشرة في قلب نظيره الأخر، وقع على الأرض والدماء تسيل منه بشدة وعينيه تفارق الحياة.
شهيق شديد ورجفة قوية؛ فقد عاد الرجل من الموت، جلس على ركبته وعينيه تكاد أن تخرج من محجريهما أثر الفزع، ينظر إلى الشق في صدره والدماء تسيل منه، ولكنها توقفت وبدأ لونها يتغير إلى اللون الذهبي، بدأ يضيء موضع نصل السيف، وليس ذلك فقط من كان يضيء، بل شخصه الطائر في الهواء بدأ يضيء أيضا، وفي نفس موضع الجرح، وبعد ثوان توقف كل شيء وعاد جرحه وكأنه لم يصاب به من الأساس، ولم يترك حتى ندبة واحدة أثر ذلك، نظرت سين إليه وهى تبتسم ولكن سام لم يفعل أي شيء سوى رفع سيفه في الهواء مرة أخرى ونزل به على رقبة نظيره ففصلها عن جسده.
