ومن مقدمة الكتاب، تقول "خديجة الحاج مجيب": أحداث المؤامرة كانت تُحاك لمصر في زمنٍ أُهدرت فيه الكرامة الإنسانية، وطغت فيه الصراعات الرأسمالية، وتجرَّد الشباب من كل معاني الإنسانية والكرامة نتيجة الجهل والفقر.. ولكن العناية الإلهية كان لها الدور الأكبر في إنقاذ مصر وشعبها مما حلَّ بها... نزلتْ بعض جموع الشعب المصري في 25 يناير 2011 للمطالبة بالديمقراطية، التي هي "عيش - حرية - عدالة اجتماعية"، وانجرف وراءهم الشعب الذي لا يعلم أهداف هذه الثورة ومدى خطورة الموقف على البلاد... ولأول مرة استطاع "المتطبع" أن يستخدم بعض هؤلاء "الغلابة" في تحقيق أهدافه ومصالحه بحجة الفقر والجوع الذي أهلك هؤلاء، نتيجة حاكم مستبد لا يرضى بالعيش والظهور إلا لمن حوله، وكانت النتيجة ظهور طبقة مستبدة، ومتلهفة للحكم والسُلطة بشراهة، ودائمًا يكون الفقراء هم الضحية... وما كانت النتيجة سوى فوضى عمَّت البلاد وزادتها فقرًا.
عشنا بعدها سنة من الدمار والخراب والحروب النفسية مع أشخاص كانوا يحلمون بالسلطة لأكثر من أربع وثمانين سنة.. والغريب، لا أحد يعرف كيف وصل هؤلاء إلى السلطة في هذا الزمن القياسي، ربما الأغلبية المُغيَّبة تقول: (الغرب).. هذا صحيح، ولكن بنسبة ضئيلة جدًا، هنا المتطبع المصري كان له الدور الأكبر، فكيف ألقي باللوم على الغرب، وأنا أعيش مع عدو قد أنجبته أمي؟، والشيء المحزن والمؤسف، أن الإعلام والشباب الثوري، أقصد المتطبع، استقبل هذا النظام الإرهابي بالحب والأحضان.. ولكن يا خسارة، يا فرحة ما تمت.. طبعًا الجماعة الإرهابية ليس لها عزيز ولا قريب، أظهرت الوجه الآخر لها مع هؤلاء سريعًا... وعدنا من جديد نننادي بـ"عيش - حرية - عدالة اجتماعية"، ونزل الشعب إلى الميادين من جديد في 30 يونيو 2013
