كمال الدين الأدهمي: شاعِرٌ وكاتِبٌ لبنانيٌّ بارِز.
وُلِدَ «أبو عبد الرحيم محمد كمال الدين بن محمد بن عبد القادر الحسيني الأدهمي» في «طرابلس الشام» بلبنانَ عامَ ١٨٧٨م، قَضى حياتَه بينَ مَسقطِ رأسِه والبصرةِ ومكةَ وإسطنبول وغيرِها مِنَ المُدنِ التُّركية، وفي النهايةِ انتقَلَ إلى القاهرةِ وظلَّ بها لآخِرِ حياتِه. حفظَ القرآنَ الكريمَ على يدِ والِدِه، وتلقَّى تعليمَه الأَوْليَّ في إحدى مَدارسِ الدولةِ العُثْمانيَّة، وقد تمكَّنَ من إجادةِ اللغةِ التركية، وأقبَلَ بعدَها على دراسةِ العُلومِ الشَّرْعيةِ والعَقْليةِ على يدِ بعضِ عُلماءِ الأزهرِ بطرابلس.
عملَ «كمال الدين الأدهمي» مدرِّسًا بمدارِسِ الحكومةِ العثمانيةِ بالبصرة، وطرابلس الشام، وأدرنة، والأستانة، كما نُصِّبَ خطيبًا بجامعِ السلطانِ محمد الفاتح بإسطنبول، هذا فضلًا عن عُضْويتِه بعِدَّةِ لِجانٍ في وِزارةِ المَعارِف، وعقِبَ هِجرتِه إلى مِصرَ عامَ ١٩٢٥م بعدَ انقلابِ كمالِ الدينِ أتاتورك والاستغناءِ عن خدماتِه، وبعدَ منْحِه الجنسيةَ المِصْرية، عُيِّنَ مُوظَّفًا بقسمِ المَحْفوظاتِ التاريخيةِ بالديوانِ المَلكيِّ (في عصْرِ المَلِكِ فاروق). كانَ كذلك عُضْوًا في نقابةِ الأشرافِ بمِصْر، التي كانَ جَدُّه نَقيبَها.
له دِيوانٌ سمَّاه «عُنوان الفَضلِ وترجمانُ لِسانِ الأدبِ والنبل»، بالإضافةِ إلى العديدِ مِنَ المُؤلَّفاتِ في الأخلاقِ والتصوُّفِ والسِّيرةِ النَّبوية، فضْلًا عن الشِّعْر، نَذكرُ منها: «تَعلِيقات على دِيوانِ البهاءِ زهير»، و«النفح الوَرْدي شَرْح لأُمَية بن الوردي»، و«الجَمْع الوافي للقَوَافي»، و«صَرْف اللِّسانِ إلى نحْوِ بَديعِ المَعاني والبَيان».
وتُوفِّيَ بالقاهرةِ عامَ ١٩٥٢م.
