يُشكّل المضمون في النهاية دراسة مقارنة بين الإيمان التوحيدي، الذي انطلق من الشرق الأوسط، من الجزيرة العربية وتقاطَعَ مع البُعد التأملي الذي جاء من الشرق الأقصى، من الهند والصين واليابان حاملاً تأملات وأفكاراً تفاعلت في تلك المجتمعات كي تجعل من انصهارها وحدةً متوافقة متكاملة.
يتشكّل الحاصل في هذه المعادلة عن الصورة الذهنية التي تُبلورُ تفاعلَ الإيمان والمعتقد؛ والجمالية المتجسدة في النتاج الفني على مر العصور، كما تواكب إنسانية المخلوقات في جوهر وجودها حتى خلودها عند مبدعها حيث يتساوى البقاء والفناء وحيث يتهاوى الفضاء والزمان في بريق الوعود.
ينسج الوجود أوهامه من مرور البشر فوق جمود الحجر كي يعبر إلى حدود الأبد دون حنين الخلود". كيف تشكلت العلاقة بين الإنسان والإيمان، وكيف ظهرت على شكل تأملات وأفكار أثمرت عن جماليّة خاصة تمظهرت في النتاج المعرفي والفني وتربعت على عرش المعتقد الديني عند مختلف الشعوب هو ما يستعرضه إلياس ديب في "جماليّات المعتقد والمنطق البصري"
