هذا الكتاب.. حاولت أن أساهم به في الدراسات المعاصرة بتناول قضايا أدبية معاصرة مثل قضية الشعر الحر؛ وقضية الشعر النسائي, ثم قضية نقدية هي قضية النقد البنيوي, وأخيرًا قضية في علم الترجمة هي قضية ترجمة الشعر الفارسي المعاصر؛ وهي قضايا تدور بين الأدب والنقد والترجمة وتجمعها دائرة واحدة هي المعاصرة.
والجدير بالذكر هنا أن نماذج شاعرات قضية الشعر النسائي معاصرات ومازلن على قيد الحياة, كما أن قضية النقد البنيوي تتناول جهود أديب إيراني هو سيروس شمسيا علاوة على كونه باحث ودارس في الأدب الفارسي, كما أن طرح نموذج الشاعر أبي القاسم حالت من منظور علم الترجمة, كلها قضايا لم يسبق إليها أحد من دارسي الأدب الفارسي؛ كما أضفت في نهاية كل قضية أدبية نماذج من الشعر المعاصر والنصوص النقدية في محاولة لإضفاء جانب تعليمي يستفيد منه طلاب مرحلة الليسانس والدراسات العليا.
