اعلم أيها الأخ الصديق أن هذه الصلاة التى فى صلب هذه النسخة الشريفة المباركة, لمؤلفها القطب الكامل, والغوث الواصل, شيخ الطريقة, وبحر الحقيقة, السيد الشريف, سيدى السيد محمد عثمان الميرغنى, ينتهى نسبه إلى قرة كل عين, سيدنا الشهيد الحسين, ابن السيدة فاطمة بنت سيدنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
بشر النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم مؤلفها ان من لازم على قراءتها يصير من أهل الفتح والكمال, كما ذكره المؤلف فى خطبتها, ولعمرى قد جمعت هذه النسخة الجليلة معادن الخيرات وبحور البركات, بأحاديُ صحيحة الأسانيد, فى فضل الصلاة على سيد الأماجيد, كل باب منها يحتوى على أحاديث جمة, كأنها كواكب مشرقة, فى ليلة مظلمة, تحلت بما صلى به الحبيب تعالى على حبيبه, وتزخرفت بما صلى به السيد الأعظم على نفسه الشريفة.
وقد ختم المؤلف منها كل باب يصيغ أفاضها عليه الجواد المنعم الوهاب ثم مزجها بأدعية نبوية مأثورة, فوالله العظيم, ثم والله العظيم, إنها بإذن الله تعالى توضح لكل متحير تحيره, وإنها لأدعية تحلل الصخار ولو أقسم بها على أجاج البحار, لصارت عذبة كالأنهار, ولا تتعجب من أسرار كلام صاحب النبوة السر المرموز, والطلسم الملغوز.
