يختص هذا الكتاب بحقل الطيران ويعدد مراحل تطور الطيران منذ المحاولة الأولى التي قام بها أبو القاسم عباس بن فرناس بن ورداس التاكرني في القرن التاسع عشر، مروراً بالأخوين رايت "WRIGHT" في مطلع القرن التاسع عشر أيضاً، وصولاً إلى عصرنا الحاضر، ويحمل سيرة الرجال الذين ساهموا في صناعة الطيران وتطويره. وفي هذا المجال، يبين الكتاب أيضاً الصعوبات التي تواجه الطائرة والطيار معاً منذ الإقلاع وحتى الهبوط، وتاثيراً لعوامل الطبيعة الجويَة عليهما.
كذلك يعدد الكتاب بالأرقام حوادث الطيران في العالم منذ نشوء الطيران وحتى اليوم وأسباب حصولها وكيفية تفاديها. ويرشد المسافر إلى مراحل رحلته منذ شراءه لتذكرة السفر وحتى وصوله إلى المكان المقصود. كذلك يتطرق الكتاب إلى ضياع حقائب السفر وكيفية معالجتها. ويتحدث عن المنظمات الدولية ودورها في حقل الطيران.
