نقدم للقارئ هذه الدراسات في فلسفة التأويل لأشهر فلاسفة الهيرمينوطيقا في العصور الحديثة: هانس غيورغ غادامير.
هذه الدراسات غيض من فيض إذا ما أدركنا أن ما كتبه غادامير في هذا الميدان يتجاوز آلاف الصفحات واخترنا أهم الدراسات مدخلاً إلى الفكر التأويلي وستعقبها دراسات أخرى لا محالة متى سنحت الفرصة.
جاءت هذه الترجمة لتغني المكتبة العربية موضوع التأويل الفلسفي عموماً وفلسفة غادامير خصوصاً التي لم تتلق بعد العناية والإهتمام الجدير بها.
لا تزال نكتشف بإحتشام وتأخر هائل هذا البحر التأويلي الذي لا ساحل له إذا علمنا أن مؤلفاته، وخصوصاً "الحقيقة والمنهج"، ترجمت إلى أغلب اللغات العالمية كما أن أعماله المعرفية وبصماته التأويلية لا زالت تثمر أعمالاً وكتباً وأعلاماً في التأويل المعاصر أمثال الإيطالي جياني فاتيمو والأمريكي ريتشارد رورتي والفرنسي بول ريكور.
في سنوات 1986- 1991 نشر غادامير مؤلفاته الكاملة في عشرة أجزاء.
