يعمل مديراً لإدارة التفتيش الفني بهيئة تعاونيات البناء والإسكان بمدينة نصر.
عضو اتحاد الكتاب بمصر, ومجلس إدارة ندوة شعراء العروبة, وسكرتير جمعية العقاد الأدبية.
نشر أعماله في العديد من الصحف والمجلات المصرية والعربية.
دواوينه الشعرية: نقوش على شفتين 1985 - قدمت للحب استقالة 1991 - لولاي ماكنت أنثى 1993 - صائدة القلوب 1995.

يتناول هذا الكتاب حقبة من تاريخ مصر الحديث بداية من عصر محمد علي إلى عصر مبارك، من خلال الصور التي ستكشف لنا أن مصر كانت دائمًا سباقة في مجالات متعددة، منها أول قطار في الشرق سنة 1861م وأول برلمان سنة 1866م ، وأول دار أوبرا سنة 1869م وأول حديقة حيوان سنة 1891م وغيرها. كما كانت مصر رائدة النهضة النسائية ونهضة التعليم والفن والأدب. وهذا الكتاب يقدم شيئًا مختلفًا وجديدًا في طريقة عرضه فهو بانوراما لمصر في 200 عام من خلال عشرات الصور التي توضح المعنى.
