أفاق من شروده على رائحة دخان شديدة إن البلد غير مستقر الآن وتوجد مظاهرات تطوف أنحاء البلاد جميعها، تقابل بهجوم شديد من قوات الأمن، هجوم بقنابل الغاز والرصاص المطاطي والحي، نظر أمامه ليجد أن قدميه قد ساقتاه إلى مقر عملها الذي كان للأسف في أشد أماكن الإشتباكات الدائرة بين الأمن والمتظاهرين، تمنى أن تكون قد ذهبت إلى منزلها، رفع هاتفه المحمول وضغط على اسمها، رن الهاتف لبعض الوقت دون رد، قلق عليها كثيراً وقرر المحاولة مرة أخرى في هذه المرة ردت بصوت واهن وأخبرته أنها لا تزال في العمل ولا تقوى على الذهاب إلى منزلها بسبب الدخان، أغلق الخط واندفع يجري كالمجنون نحو مقر عملها، كان منظره لافتاً وهو يجري عكس الجميع باتجاه قوات الأمن التي تمطر الشارع بالقنابل المسيلة للدموع، لا يستطيع التنفس، عيناه تحترقان، لكنه يواصل الجري، فحبيبته في حاجة إليه وهو لن يتخلى عنها حتى لو دفع حياته ثمناً بسيطاً.
