إننـا نلاحظ في هذا العصر كثرة النظريـات التي تفسر لنـا الظواهر الكونية والاجتماعية والنفسيـة، وكثير من الناس مَنْ يؤمن بها ويراها حقائق مسلَّمة، ثم يُكْتَشَف أن الكثير منها غير صحيح، ونلاحظ أيضاً أن بعض المسلمين قد أُعْجِب بكل ما تقدمـه الحضارة المعاصرة من نظريات، ولم يميزوا بالنظر والتدقيق بين الغث منها والسمين. ولهذا نتساءل: هل لدينا في القرآن الكريم حقائق ثابتة تقدِّم تفسيراً صحيحـاً عن الكون والإنسـان؟ أجل إن السنـن الإلهيـة هي حقائق ثابتة تقدِّم لنا تفسيرات كثيـرة عن الكون والإنسان، وقد أظهر الله تعالى في كتابـه العزيز بعضاً من هـذه السنن وأخفـى الكثير؛ ليكتشف منهـا الإنسان في كل زمـان ما يناسبه، وما يكون دليلاً جديداً من الأدلة التي تؤكد صدق ما جاءت به الرسالة الخاتمة.
ومن هنا تأتي أهمية هذه الدراسة، فقد جاءت لتؤكد هذه الدعوى، وذلك من خلال دراسة قرآنية في موضوع السنن الإلهية التي تكلم عنها القرآن الكريم أو أشار إليهـا، فإبراز السنن المبثوثـة في القرآن الكريم؛ تُعَرِّفنا على حقيقة أنفسنا، وعلى حقيقة المجتمعات الإنسانية، وعلى حقيقة الكون الذي نعيش فيه. وتلك السنن المذكورة في القرآن الكريم كثيرة؛ ولهذا سأقتصر في هذه الدراسة على سنن الطبيعة والمجتمع فقط، فأقدم دراسة نظرية تأصيلية، لمعنى السنن، والطبيعة، والمجتمع، ثم أعرض أمثلة تطبيقية لكلٍّ منهما.
