Book Description
أفلاطون هو أنبغ نوابغ الفكر، وأول الفلاسفة، وأشهر الحكماء، وهو أول من أنشأ المدارس الفلسفية العظيمة فكانت الأكاديمية إحدى مدارس أربعة أثرت أعظم الأثر في الحضارة القديمة، وهذه المدارس الأربعة هى الأكاديمية والمشائية والرواقية والأبيقورية. وقد ظلت مدرسته قائمة في أثينا حيث أنشأها تسعة قرون حتى أغلق الإمبراطور جستنيان أبوابها وطرد فلاسفتها، ثم استمرت الأفلاطونية مؤثرة في الفكر حتى الوقت الحاضر.
وهذا الكتاب هو واحد من سلسلة نوابغ الفكر ويختص هذا العدد من هذه السلسفة بترجمة وافيه لحياة العبقري الذي أفرد له ذلك الكتاب وبدراسة مفصلة عن أدبه وعلمه ومذهبه الفكري.
