امتلك من سبقونا ناصية الكلام، فكتبوا وأبدعوا في عالم الخيال ما هو أقرب إلى الأساطير، وألصق بالخرافة، وأشبه ما يكون بالمحال، وكانت كتبهم بها الكثير من التشويق، كما أنها والحق يقال: تحتوي على الكثير من القيم النبيلة والحكم البليغة، وقد قرأت كتاب: كليلة ودمنة، وكتاب: حكايات الأمير مرزبان على لسان الحيوان، وتوصلت إلى حقيقة أن الكتابين يحتويان على مادة علمية فيها ما يصلح الكبار وما يمكن يتلاءم مع فكر الصغار، بالإضافة إلى إحتوائهما على مفردات لغوية، لم يعد جيلنا يعرفها بسهولة، فضلاً عن الصغار وقد يسر الله تعالى لي الكتابة للأطفال من خلال الإصدارات القصصية والتربوية والدينية، وقد وجدت أن هناك كثيراً من القيم يمكن لي عرضها للأطفال بأسلوب شيق وجذاب من خلال حكايات أزعم أنها جديدة في بابها، أجمع فيها الكلام عن كتابين مشهورين هما: "كليلة ودمنة"، و"حكايات الأمير مرزبان"، وأصوغ كثيراً من أفكارهما في رؤية جديدة: مع إضافة عدد من الشخصيات المعبرة لفظاً ومعنى، وقد استشهدت بالآيات القرآنية الكريمة والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة تيمناً وتبركاً لمواقف تحتم الإسترشاد بها، وذلك تثبيتاً للقيم النبيلة وإعلاء للخلال الكريمة، وقد بذلت جهدي، واستفرغت وسعي في انتقاء العبارات والألفاظ، واختراع المواقف المعبرة، والمشاهد المؤثرة، والحوار الجذاب، فغدا هذا الكتاب بهياً في موضوعه، جديداً في فكرته، سهلاً في عبارته... بسيطاً في تناوله.
