يتولى حاليا رئاسة تحرير كتب الأطفال بدار الهلال

ترتبط نظرية المعرفة عند فلاسفة الإسلام ارتباطا وثيقا بنظريتهم في الكون. وإذا نحن أردنا أن نحيط علما بنظرية المعرفة لدى امثال ابن سينا أو الفاربي أو ابن باجة أو ابن رشد وجب علينا، قبل كل شئ ان نتبين نظرة كل منهم إلى العالم. فلق كانت فكرة فلاسفة المسلمين السابقين لابن رشد عن الكون لا تشبه بحال ما فكرة أرسطو في هذه المسألة. ذلك ان نظريتهم في الفيض، تلك النظرية الشهيرة التى تفسر لنا كيف وجدت الكثرة في العالم ابتداء من موجود واحد - قد لعبت دورا كبير الأهمية في توجيه الفلسفة الإسلامية توجيها حاسما نحو نوع من التصوف ذى طابع خاص كل الخصوص، أما عن "ابن رشد" فقد لجأ إلى نظرية جديدة أخذها عنه فيما بعد "أبن ميمون" و "توماس الأكويني" رافضة لنظرية الفيض.. ولكن ليس من عزمنا ان نقول إن توماس الأكويني قد رفض نظرية الفيض لمجرد أن أبا الوليد قد سبقه إلى رفضها فإن تأكيد مثل هذا الراى بصفة قاطعة قد يكون مضادا لما يقضى به الحكم السديد او الحيدة في البحث.
