كيش جزيرة إيرانية تبلغ مساحتها 91.5كم2، وتشكّل منتجعاً سياحياً واقعاً على الخليج الفارسي، تعود قصة جزيرة كيش إلى زمن قديم، وكانت تتردد على سواحلها الزوارق الصغيرة، لكنها الآن أصبحت قاب قوسين أن تكون مركزاً تجارياً حراً وأكبر مركز ترفيهي إيراني.
وتصنف الجزيرة كواحدة من أجمل عشر جزر في العالم، وتحتل الجزيرة المرتبة الرابعة لأكثر الأماكن زيارة في جنوب غرب آسيا، وتمكّنت الجزيرة من جذب العديد من الشركات والمؤسسات المالية والتجارية للإستثمار فيها، بإعتبارها ساحة تجريب للإستثمار في إيران على الرغم من أن هذه هذه الجزيرة تعتبر منطقة حرة تجارياً وإقتصادياً للإستثمار، فهي تعتبر منطقة حرّة أيضاً من حيث التسهيلات في إرتداء الحجاب للنساء بشكل أيسر من القوانين التي تستخدم داخل إيران، إضافةً إلى أنّ الجزيرة تقدّم للسياح إمكانية دخولها دون الحصول على تأشيرات، مؤديةً كل هذه التسهيلات لجذب السيّاح حيث وصل عدد السياح في نهاية عام 2015م إلى خمسة ملايين سائح للتجارة والتسوق والإستجمام لبعض الوقت.
