يواصل المؤلف في هذا الكتاب ما كان قد بدأه في الجزء الأول من دراسته التي تتضمن شرحاً لأحكام القانون التجاري، حيث يعرض في هذا الجزء لأحكام الأوراق التجارية التي وردت في قانون التجارة الأردني. والورقة التجارية عبارة عن سند محرر بالشكل المعين في القانون، يكون قابلاً للتداول ويتضمن حقاً لحامله أو للمستفيد منه يتمثل بمبلغ من النقود يدفع من قبل الالتزام بموجب السند في أجل قصر أو عند الإطلاع.
كما أن للأوراق التجارية وظائف اقتصادية هامة فهي إدارة لنقل النقود، وهي أداة وفاء، وأداة ائتمان. والأوراق التجارية التي عالج أحكامها قانون التجارة الأردني ثلاثة: سند السحب (البوليصة أو السفتجة)، السند لأمر (الكمبيالة أو السند الأذني)، وأخيراً الشيك. وهي الموضوع الذي تدور حوله أبواب الكتاب الثلاثة حيث يعرض المؤلف في الباب الأول لسند السحب (السفتجة أو البوليصة) حيث يتحدث المؤلف عن انتشار سند السحب وصيغته ويعرض أيضاً لما يسمى بـ (مقابل الوفاء)، ومقابل الوفاء من الضمانات الخاصة بوفاء قيمة السند والتي يقررها المشرع حماية لحق الحامل.
كما يعرض لتداول سند السحب (والتظهير)، والقبول، والقبول بالتدخل، حيث يجوز أن يتقدم شخص أو أكثر فيتدخل لقبول السفتجة عن أحد الموقعين الذين يكون معرضاً للرجوع عليه من الحامل. كما يتحدث المؤلف عن الضمان الاحتياطي والضمان وانقضاء الالتزام الصرفي بوفاء قيمة السند، وممارسة العامل لحقه في الرجوع وانقضاء الالتزام الصرفي بغير الوفاء.
وفي الباب الثاني يتحدث المؤلف عن إنشاء السند لأمر (الكمبيالة) وتداول السند لأمر ووفاء قيمة السند والتقادم في السند في حين يبحث الباب الرابع في (الشيك) وشروط إنشائه والرصيد أو مقابل الوفاء، وتداول الشيك، ووفاء قيمة الشيك، والتقادم من الشيك، والأنواع الخاصة في الشيك.
