رغم أن الحقيقة -فى كثير من الأحيان- تبدو واضحة....إلا أن الوصول إليها يزداد تعقيداً...نتيجة تعقيدات الحياة...وتداخل الأقنعة والمبررات....والرغبة الجامحة فى الاستحواذ, والتفرد, والسلطة, والقوة...
حتى أصبحت للحقيقة ألف وجه...فالحقيقة بالنسبة لى تختلف عن الحقيقة بالنسبة لك عن الحقيقة بالنسبة للاخرين وكل الأطراف تتشبث بموقفها, أحيانا عن اقتناع, وأحيانا كثيرة لمجرد الحفاظ على المكاسب والانتصارات الصغيرة.
ورغم كل هذه الصعوبات حاولت السينما الجادة, المؤمنة برسالتها, تمزيق الأقنعة الكثيفة,والستائر الخرسانية والخوض بشجاعة, متحدية كل المحظورات والتهديدات للوصول إلى قلب الحقيقة.
عن هذه السينما اخترت موضوع كتابى, من خلال نماذج من أفلام من الشرق والغرب, والخيط الذى يجمع بين هذه الأفلام هو موقف الإنياان من السلطة التى تتحكم فى حياته ومقدراته سواء أكانت تلك السلطة هى سلطة الجهاز السياسي الحاكم أو سلطة أصحاب الأموال أو سلطة بعض رجال الدين, أو سلطة القوى الإرهابية التى تحاول أن تفرض أفكارها بالقوة!
وفى كل تلك الحالات فإن السلطة الحمقاء, لا يدفع ثمنها فقط أصحاب تلك السلطة, فى سجلات التاريخ, ولكن يتحمل العبء الأكبر أفراد الشعوب الذين يدفع بهم إلى القهر, والمهانة, والإرادة المسلوبة, وإلى التفتيت وعبادة الأصنام الجديدة, وإلى حروب غير مبررة أو معارك داخلية..تكون نتيجتها: الفوضى والارتباك والتشوهاات والعجز الجسمانى والانهيارات العصبية والنفسية التى تحصد أثمن سنوات العمر!
وقد تعمدت فى اختيارات الأفلام أن أتوقف طويلا امام السينما القادمة من الكتلة الشرقية...باعتبار -ما هو متداول ومعروف- من أن حكومات تلك الدول السرية والصمت فى كل ما يدور بمجتمعاتها ولكن الفنانين الباحثين عن الحقيقة فى تلك الدول, خاضوا محاولة فض أستار الصمت, وكانت محاولاتهم دهشة وترحيب بالغ على كافة المستويات السينمائية العالمية.
وكانت رسالتهم إلى العالم "الحر" أننا أيضا نستطيع أن نقول رأينا, مهما كانت المعوقات والمحاذير.
