تتميز تجربة ريجيو إميليا قبل كل شيء كونها تجربة إيطالية إلا أنها تشكل نموذجاً لتوعية متقدمة من التعليم، يسعى لتكوين أفراد/ مواطنين نامي القدرات ومنتمين لمجتمعهم.
