دراسة إحصائية تحليلية لدخول المراة في الخدمة العسكرية في دول الغرب وخاصة الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا وفرنسا وهو يركز على النساء في حرب الخليج ، ويعرض بإيجابية التجربة الليبية في إنشاء الأكاديمية العسكرية النسائية. كما يعرض المتاهة القانونية التي دخلتها المرأة الإيطالية من أجل الدخول في الخدمة العسكرية ، دون التوصل إلى النتيجة المرجوة. وهو كتاب يشتمل على تطبيقات فيها إيجابيات وسلبيات منها ما يتمشى مع القيم التي ترعاها الديانات السماوية ؛ لذلك ينبغي توخي الحذر عند قراءته ؛ فليس كل ما يصلح للتطبيق في الغرب صالحاً في الشرق. ويزهو محرر الكتاب فخراً بالاختلاط بين الجنسين في القوات المسلحة ، رغم ما شاع عنه من فضائح ، بينما يتعرضون بالإهانة للعفة والشرق العربي.وينقسم هذا الكتاب إلى ثلاثة أبواب أما الباب الأول فيه أربعة فصول لها العناوين التالية على الترتيب :(النساء والنتائج الاقتصادية لالتحاقهن بالخدمة العسكرية - النساء ومشروعية استخدام القوة - قانون العدو ذي الجنسين - إطلالة على عناصر الضغط على نساء الخدمة العسكرية في الولايات المتحدة ) أما الباب الثاني بعنوان :الزي العسكري والحجاب في حرب الخليج وفي فصلين الأول :سياسة بناء المرأة المقاتلة الأمريكية أما الثاني : استغلال وسائل الإعلام للعنصر النسائي في حرب الخليج.أما الباب الثالث فهو حالتان دراسيتان الأولى : عسكرة المرأة والمساواة بينها وبين الرجل في ليبيا أما الثانية : مصيدة بينيلوبا: الخدمة العسكرية النسائية في إيطاليا.
