لا بُدَّ للتأويل البليغ من نظريَّة تسْنُدُه، ومن نموذج يُطبقه، ومفاهيم واصفةٍ أو إجرائيةٍ يشتغل بها، على هذا المستوى المعرفي يُحاول هذا الكتاب بناء نظرية موسعة حول "الكون المتقابل" و"الكون النَّصي المتقابل" ثمَّ "التَّأويل بالمُقابل".
إنطلاقاً من بنية عميقة مؤسسة للمعنى قائمة على التَّقابل المثنوي أو المتعدد، وهي على حد تصور محمد بازِّي بنْيةُ نوويَّةٌ حاضرةٌ في جميع النصوص والخطابات، وقد مكنته التصورات المتناثرة حول التقابل والتَّواجُه في حقول معرفية مختلفة، قديمة وحديثة عربيةٍ وغربية، من اقتراح مقدماتٍ مؤسسة لنظرية مُوسعة ومتماسكة حول التأويل التَّقابلي.
ولأنَّ هذه التصورات تحتاجُ إلى إثباتات وتأكيدات تجريبية، فقد أقامها على مجموعة من الفروض الإستكشافية، وعلى تحققات، وإختبارات لعدد كبيرٍ ومتنوع من النماذج النَّصِّية والخطابية، ثم سعى - تبعاً لذلك وإستناداً إلى مرجعيات معرفية خِصْبة - إلى تأسيس نموذج تقابلي في الفهم والإفهام.
إنه مشروعٌ مفتوحٌ ومُطاوعٌ يدفع مؤولي النُّصوص، ومُحلِّلي الخطابات إلى إقتراح أُسُس مَعْرفيةِ جديدة ومُوسَّعة تتعلَّقُ بالتقابلات النَّصية والخطابية الملفوظة والملحوظة، وبالمسارات العالمة والبليغة لتمثُّلها وتأويلها.
هذه الأسُسُ العرفانية البديلة التي يقترحها الكتاب عودةٌ جديدة وُمتجدِّدة إلى الطبيعة التَّقابُلية للأشياء والمعاني، أي إلى ما هو أصلٌ بنيويٌّ قويٌّ الحُضور فينا، وفي الكون المتقابل من حولنا.
ومن ثمَّة تأتي الدَّعوةُ إلى توسيع هذه التَّصورات وتطعيمها معرفياً عبر التنظير والتَّجريب والتَّقريب، ثُم عبر العمل بها، وتقاسُمِها داخِل التَّخصُّصاتِ المعرفية المختلفة في الحقلين الأكاديمي والمدرسي؛ فصدر النَّموذج التَّقابُلي لا يضيقُ بذلك، وبلاغته التَّأويلية من أوسع الممالِك.
