الطفل هو الوحيد بيننا الذي يستطيع أن يوقف زحف الزمن وسعاره وتكالبه لأنه يستعين بقوة الخيال في تدشين روايته لنفسه ولمن حوله وللزمن المحيط به، كما أن صلصال الطفل وعجينته تسترقان السمع باكراً لدبيب المحنة والنكسة والجرح الغائر، والشاعر المرهف والفنان ذا الحساسية العالية، والأعلى ذا البصيرة الرثية".
