العلاقة بين الشاعر وموضوعه هي في انتقال الموضوع من الواقع الخارجي إلى الكتابة أو الأثر الإبداعي، مروراً بذات الشاعر، وهو ما يمكن مقاربته في "مليء بالرمل مليئ بالمرايا" للشاعر ياسر سعيد دحي، فالشاعر وهذه مجموعته الشعرية الأولى يحاول التجاوز نحو فضاءات جمة يحلم بها، ويتفاعل معها، رامزاً إليها بالرمل والمرايا، والصوت، وتجاوز النهار، كأنما يريد الخروج من جسده، وجسد اللغة، كأنما الكلمات في اندفاعها نحو الأحلام تبحث عن لحظة جديدة منقطعة عن كل شيء إلا ولادتها، قافزة في الوقت نفسه إلى ما وراءها، يجسد ذلك على مستوى الذات قول الشاعر في قصيدته الموسومة بـ (قال الفتى): فمتى نكون عراة ككل فراشات العالم / عراة ككل عصافير الدنيا فوق الأشجار / كمثل الأشجار عراة / بلا ورق التوت / ينسجنا ويسجننا.
وبهذا المعنى تتحرك الذات باتجاه التجذر في الوجود الإنساني، بحيث يصبح العري والتساقط وغياب المثال أحد تجليات حلمها المتجذر مع ما بعد القشرة الظاهرة للوجود، في انقلاب حداثي تشهده الذات يخرج عن نسيج المألوف...
بهذا النفس الحداثي يكتب الشاعر ياسر سعيد دحي فيداخل بين الأشياء، كأنها من عالم واحد، لا حدود بين جنباته، وكأنما الرمل والمرايا تلخصان حياة الإنسان في امتداده المتواصل بين المادة والروح. فتحتضن عبارة العنوان جهات الإنسان الحسية والمعنوية، أو تغدو مركزاً لاستقطاب الحياة، وكأنما الحياة برمتها داخل هذا الديوان، أو وجودنا جسداً وروحاً.
يضم الديوان مايزيد عن العشرون قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الأتية: "دعاء"، "بيني وبين أبي"، "يمشي على شعاع"، "القلق أو حديث عن الشاعرقال"، "آه لو كنا معاً"، "آسيا أفريقيا"، "النور يرسم بالعين"، "حلم لرأس السنة"، (...) وقصائد أخرى.
