أعلم أن كل موسوي هو حسيني، ولا يصح العكس وكل رضوي موسوي، ولا يصح العكس، لذا خصصنا السادات الموسوية والرضوية بالقسمين السابقين من هذه الموسوعة، وقد قدم المؤلف الموسوية خلال تأليفه بإعتباره أكثر السادات العلوية تشعباً ومساحة ومتاعباً.
وأودع المؤلف فيه جميع المادة العلمية التي اكتنفها الوثائق الخطية والتي بخط كاتبيها ولم يسبق لأحد من العلماء القدماء أن رآها، لأسباب عديدة لعل أهمها، هجرت السادات الكرام القسرية، وتفرقهم في بقاع العالم متخفين من طلب حكام الجور، على مر القرون الماضيّة.
وقد كتب المؤلف أنساب السادات الحسينية وترجم لهم أينما كانوا في بقاع العالم ومهما حملوا من عقائد، مستفيداً من (الأهمال التدويني) الذي أطلع عليه في بعض المصنفات التي تكتب الأنا، والوطن، والعقيدة.
