تمكين المرأة يعد مسألة حيوية بالنسبة لتحسين مستوى المشاركة السياسية لها في الدولة، فنظرًا للتطورات السياسية التي حدثت في دولة الإمارات في السنوات الأخيرة فقد سمح للمرأة بالدخول للسلطة التنفيذية وتقلد المناصب الوزارية، ثم تبع ذلك انتخابها المجلس الوطني الاتحادي، ثم تعيينها قاضية في السلطة القضائية.
وعلى هذا فسوف نفرد هذه الدراسة لبحث مسألة مهمة وهي مشاركة المرأة في الحياة السياسية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
تقوم خطة الدراسة على تقسيم موضوع الدراسة إلى ثلاث أبواب رئيسية وخاتمة. الباب الأول: التطور التاريخي لوضع المرأة، الفصل الأول: التطور التاريخي للمركز القانوني والاجتماعي للمرأة عبر الحضارات القديمة والديانات السماوية المحرفة، الفصل الثاني: لمحة تاريخية عن واقع المرأة الإماراتية وتطورها، الباب الثاني: مشاركة المرأة في الحياة السياسية، الفصل الأول: المشاركة السياسية في الفقه السياسي المعاصر، الفصل الثاني: حق المرأة في المشاركة في الحياة السياسية، الفصل الثالث: موقف الشريعة الإسلامية من حق المرأة في المشاركة في الحياة السياسية، الباب الثالث: دور المرأة الإماراتية في المشاركة في الحياة السياسية، الفصل الأول: المشاركة السياسية للمرأة في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الفصل الثاني: المجلس الوطني الاتحادي، الفصل الثالث: السلطة التنفيذية، الفصل الرابع: السلطة القضائية.
وفي النهاية نفرد خاتمة عامة لتلك الدراسة تضم أهم النتائج التي توصلنا إليها، وكذلك التوصيات التي نقترحها في هذا الخصوص.
