قال لي صديق ذات يوم: أنتِ من النوع الذي لا ينتحر، فقط يفكر فيه. لأن الحياة دائماً تقوم بإنقاذي في الوقت المناسب، ترسل لي فارساً ينقذني على حصان أبيض. ولأنني من أنصار أن الحب يجب أن يعاش، أواصل الحياة.
وأميل إلى تفلسف الأمور تفلسف وجودي، أو مدى جدلي. وأحياناً برومانسية عبيطة مفرطة الدهشة. أتعثر وأقوم. وأقوم لأتعثر. الحياة بالنسبة لي كروفر. ليلة كاملة وأنا أقوم بترتيب الحجرة وتنظيف الأثاث. ثم أخرج شنطة كبيرة للسفر من مكانها، وأرتبها كما يجب ، ثم أغلقها، وأنام هادئة استعداداً للسفر. وفي الصباح أتراجع ، فأفرغ محتويات الشنطة من جديد..
وأخرج وأضع في فمي حبة كراملة ، وأمص فيها .
