وهدفي من هذا بالطبع جمالي، لأن وجهة نظري هي دائمًا وجهة نظر"المتفرج الناقد".
ومن الملائم أن أحدد أني سأتجنب كل موازاة قياسية مع اللغة المنطوقة، وأني لن ألجأ إلى مصطلحات التركيب اللغوي والأسلوب اللغوي إلي للتبسيط أو عندما تفرض المقابلة نفسها بوضوح شديد حتى لا يمكن إغفالها ومن المستحيل في الحقيقة أن ندرس اللغة الفيلمية طبقاً لأنواع اللغة المنطوقة.
وكل مطابقة من المنظر للكلمة أو العبارة عميقة تماماً، وتحليل الخصائص العامة للصورة يعطينا الدليل على ذلك فورًا...
وأعتقد أنه يجب أن نضع الأصالة المطلقة للغة الفيلمية كمبدأ وأن نفتح أمام الشاشة عيناً ناقدة بقدر ما هي متحمسة، كعين آلة التصوير علي العالم.
