عندما تُغادر حبيبك، ينتابك فقدانٌ بقلق، لكن شفتيك تبتسمان لِكل تلك الذكريات التي صَنعتَها معها، لا تحس بتلك الفرحة، وإن كنت تَكتم هذا الشيء عن عقلك، فإن قلبك يعرف الكثير عنكَ، إنه الوحيد الذي تَتجنب مُخادعته وإن سَربت له كلمات مضللة، فَذلِكَ خَجل الغرور! لِذلك فَهُم يقولون لا عِزة ولا أَنفَ يَعلو حين يلوح الحب! تُضحي بكل شيء في سبيله عن طِيب خَاطر! وذلك وَجهٌ آخر لِشخصِياتِنا سَواء اعترفن به أم لم نفعل، هذه الحياة وإن كنا نَنظرُ إليها بِبسمة الإعجاب فقط لأننا وجدنا غير أولئك الأشخاص الذين كنا نعتقد أنهم سيجلبون لنا شيئاً ساحراً كل يوم. كُنت أَميلُ إلى الاعتقاد أن الاقتراب فَقط من الحبيب الذي أَربك كل حواسي كَفيل بـِجعلي أعثر على كل تلك الأشياء الساحرة بكثرة.
