هذا البحث عاش فيه الباحث مع كنز من كنوز مخطوطات الدراسة النحوية ، وهو ( تعليقة سنية على حل ألفاظ الأجرومية ) لأحمد بن علي البجاني المتوفي سنة ( 837 ) ه .
وقد قام الباحث بتحقيق هذا الشرح على خمس نسخ مخطوطة . ثم أجرى دراسة تحدث فيها بنبذة من حياة المؤلف من حيث إسمه ونسبه ولقبه وكنيته وبلده ورحلاته العلمية ووفاته .
ثم عمل دراسة شاملة للشرح نفسه تناول فيها ، توثيق إسم الكتاب ونسبته إلى المؤلف ، والمصطلحات التي استعملها المؤلف فيه ، وأسلوب المؤلف ، واختيارات المؤلف وترجيحاته النحوية ، والمآخذ المسجلة على المؤلف ، مقدماً لكل هذا بكلام موجز للتعريف بـ ( متن الأجرومية ) ومؤلفه وشروحه .
ثم تلا ذلك النص المحقق ممهداً له بطريقة التحقيق ، ووصف النسخ المخطوطة للكتاب .
