ويقع الكتاب فى خمسة فصول, تناول الفصل الأول موضوع "مدخل إلى البحث العلمى", أما الفصل الثانى فقد تناول موضوع "أسس وإجراءات البحث العلمى". وقد تناول الفصل الثالث موضوع "خطة وتقرير البحث", أما الفص الرابع فقد تناول موضوع "البحوث الكمية والكيفية فى التربية", وقد تناول الفصل الخامس والأخير موضوع "تقويم البحث التربوى".
وفى النهاية, نأمل أن يسهم الكتاب ولو بقدر ضئيل فى تكوين العقلية البحثية العلمية لدى الشباب من باحثينا, طلاب الدراسات العليا.
