لا يتحدّث هذا الكتاب عن علوم الذكاء الاصطناعي في تفاصيله الدقيقة؛ فهو موضوع غاية في التخصص والتعقيد، لكنَّه يلقي الضوء بشكل مبسَّط على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وتطبيقاته، ومدى أهميته في الحرب بين الدول الكبرى؛ تحديدًا تلك الحرب بين الولايات المتحدة والصين الشعبية الدائرة رحاها الآن؛ إذ لا تخلو شبكات الإعلام بشكل يومي من تصريح –حتى لو كان عابرًا- للرئيس الأمريكي ضد الصين، الأمر الذي يعكس أهمية هذا الصراع الرأسمالي العالمي الطامح إلى قيادة العالم في السنوات القادمة، في ظل الظروف الدولية الراهنة والتقدم التقني الهائل في مجالات العلوم المتعددة؛ خاصة تكنولوجيا المعلومات والذكاء الاصطناعي.
وهو ليس كتابًا علميًّا بالمعنى الحرفيِّ للكلمة؛ إذ لا يتناول علوم الاتصالات المشغِّلة لتقنية الذكاء الاصطناعي إلا بمعنى الاستفادة منه تجاريًّا، وتوظيفه من قبل الإمبريالية ومشاريعها عدوانية الطابع والاستغلالية في الوقت نفسه، وبيان كيف سيتأثر البشر على مدار السنوات القادمة حين يفقدون وظائفهم لصالح الذكاء الاصطناعي وتقنياته المتطورة؛ فلا يمكن تناول العلوم من وجهة نظر النجاحات والاكتشافات العلمية فقط، بل يجب التركيز على هيمنة هذه العلوم وتوجيهها وعدم حياديتها في الوقت نفسه.
