إن عمل الكرباسي في الدراسة التي يقدمها على صفحات هذا الكتاب، يقوم على كشف جوهري للعلاقة بين التوراة والإمبريالية. وهو لذلك يتجاوز مرحلة مكيافيللي بألوف السنين ليرجع إلى كتبة التوراة حيث يقف المرء على المرجعية الكبرى للسياسة الغربية المعاصرة وكان ماركس قد وصم العالم الغربي بأنه يهودي حتى الصيم (العائلة المقدسة)، وكأن الكرباسي أراد البرهنة على صحة كلمات ماركس فتطوع لتفكيك النصوص التوراتية في دراسة مقارنة أوصلته إلى ميكافيللي ثم إلى استعماريي العصر الحاضر.
وبعد ذلك كانت هناك دعوة من الكرباسي إلى إحلال المعرفة العلمية محل الغيبيات وترك الدين للعبادة لا للسياسة حيث يتوجب احترام عقائد الناس ولكن من غير تسييس واستغلال لهذه العقائد في الحياة السياسية والاقتصادية للدول والشعوب.
