إن التغيرات التكنولوجية التي يعيشها العالم اليوم تضاهي في عمقها وأثرها الثورتين الصناعيتين اللتين غيّرتا، في القرنين التاسع عشر والعشرين، طبيعة كل المجتمعات الإنسانية في مختلف عناصرها وأدق تفاصيلها، ولئن كنّا نعلم أثر التصنيع بحكم مسافة الزمن التي تفصلنا عنه، فإن الاجيال الّتي شهدت بداياته كانت مثلنا في غفلة عن إنعطافة ليس من بعدها عود.
ولعل تحديات الذكاء الإصطناعي أخطر، والتأقلم مع تبعاته أعسر، بحكم تقلص المسافات وتسارع نسق الزمن، وفي حين تغيّر تكنولوجياته كل شيء وتبدل شبكاته أي قيمة، يبقى الخطاب السياسي في كل المجتمعات، وخاصة منها التي لا تساهم في تطوير التكنولوجيا الجديدة بشكل مباشر، محكوماً بأدبيات حقبة قد دنا أصيلها.
تلك أطراف الهوة الجديدة الّتي تفصل بين رسائل الإنتاج وعلاقاته من جهة، وبين الوعي السياسي وتمظهراته المختلفة من جهة أخرى، هي قطيعة بين حركة إقتصادية مندفعة للمغامرة ووعي سياسي متشبث بتلابيب الماضي، هو تدمير خلّاق يؤذن بإنحرافات كبرى قد تأتي وبالاً على المجتمعات التي تعجز عن إعادة تعريف نفسها تأقلماً مع السياق الجديد وشروطه.
ولنا في تاريخ القرنين الماضيين عبرة: ألم تسبق الثورة الصناعية الأولى في أوروبا عصر الثورات السياسية الكبرى الذي امتد إلى منتصف القرن التاسع عشر؟... ألم يعقب الثورة الصناعية الثانية في النصف الأول من القرن العشرين كمٌّ من العنف لم يشهد تاريخ الإنسانية مثيلاً له؟...
ليست مثل هذه الكوارث حتمية، ولكن ليس التغيير الحاصل اليوم أهون حجماً، وليست القطيعة بين الإقتصاد والسياسة أقل عمقاً، فماذا - ترى - تخفي العقود القادمة لمن سيدركها؟...
