في مطلع الثمانينات من القرن المنصرم، مروراً بالتسعينات، ومع بداية الألفية الجديدة ظهرت جملة من الأطروحات التي ترفع شعار (المشاريع) في المجال المعرفي، وهي كثيرة جداً، كل واحدة منها تضرب على وترها الخاص.
إن هذه (المشاريع) - المعرفية - كثيرة جداً، ومتشعبة جداً، وكتاباتها مسهبة جداً، وإعلامها واسع جداً.
في كتابنا هذا سنحاول الرد على ثلاثة منها، وها لا بدّ من ذكر ملاحظتين هما: الأولى: أن تسمية الكتاب بــ (ما وراء المشاريع) وإسباغ صفة (المشاريع) على ما أوردناه من أطروحات لن يجعل منها مشاريع حقيقية، بل إن تسميتها بــ (المشاريع) هي من باب المسامحة، أو من باب إطلاق إسمها الذي اشتُهرت به عليها.
الثانية: إن إيراد أطروحات عبد الكريم سروش لا ولن يجعل من أطروحاته مشروعاً، وإنما قد ذكرناه للحاجة إلى رده - هنا -، ولتوضيح تهافته، فإن أطروحاته ليست فلسفية وليست مشروعاً ألبتة، إنما أطروحاته عبارة عن خليط خير متجانس، إلا أننا في هذا الكتاب ذكرناها من أجل الرد عليها، لما طلبه منا بعض الأخوة في الرد عليه بشكل مختصر ومفيد، إذ لسنا نرى بأنه يستحق كتاباً مستقلاً في ذاته للرد عليه.
بعد إيراد هاتين الملاحظتين، فإننا نريد تنبيه القارئ إلى أننا قد وضعنا هذا الكتاب من أجل قراءة أطروحات محمد أركون، ومحمد عابد الجابري، وعبد الكريم سروش، وكل قراءة قد تختلف عن الأخرى، لكن المائز المشترك في كتابنا هو أنه قراءة لهذه الأطروحات من خلال تبيين أسسها، والرد عليها من الجذور، وليس وفق منهج (قال وأقول) لانه منهج تقليدي، يحتاج إلى كتب بقدر التي كتبت أو أكثر.
