عرف وقت حصاد الحب ودقه بغناءٍ مميز ورقصات ذات صبغةٍ إيقاعيّة جميلة، وكانت البيوت الميسورة تستأجر الرجال أو فرق النساء لدق الحب في المناحيز، أما الحصاد فيقوم به الرجال في موقع زراعة الحبّ، أما في القرى فلا يتغنون بغناء التتاريّات، ولكنهم يتغنون ببعض المواويل والزهيريّات دون الولوج للرقص، وهذا ما يقع على حصاد الحبّ في بعض قرى البحرين حيث يزرع القمح بها، فالرقصات وضرب الإيقاعات متّبعٌ عند أهل الرفاع الشرقيّ وأهل مدينة المحرّق وقراها قلالي والحدّ وأيضاً قرية البديع وقرية الزلاّق وقرية الجسرة.
