هو الذي احترم ذاتها وذاكرتها وذكرياتها. أحبها وأحبته بعمق جذور أشجار الزيتون وبفرح ألوان الثوب والشال. كيف لم تفهم والدته أن دم انتصار العابق بروائح أزقّة المخيَّم فلسطيني المذاق والطعم والرائحة، تمامًا كما دمها الأصيل بأصالة المدينة؟ مع أنه حب ضاع في "كرت" التموين، إلا أنه عاش بعبق الشال المطرّز وبقدسية حق العودة وبعدالة قضية اللاجئين.
