لقد كان القرآن الكريم وسيظل- بإذن الله- المصدر الثري للأمة الإسلامية فى رجوعها إليه في شئونها، واحتكامها إليه في قضاياها، وهو معينها الذى لا ينضب في إرواء ظمئها العلمي والفكري، وهو كنزها الذي لا يفنى في إغناها من خزائنه لبناء تاريخها وحضارتها مهما تطاول الزمن وتعاقبت الدهور، ولقد أودع الله سبحانه معانى كتابه الكريم في قوالب لفظية عربية، وزينه بروعة الفصاحة والبيان، وكساه حلة البلاغة وجلال الإعجاز، فدهشت به العرب جميعا، إذ سمعته حتى قال قائلهم: "إن له لحلاوة، وإن عليه لطلاوة، وإن أعلاه لمثمر، وإن أسفله لمغدق، وإنه ليعلو ولا يعلى عليه".
ومازالت معانى القرآن الكريم بكرا تتجدد فى كل عصر؛ لأنه القاعدة العريضة للشريعة الإسلامية الصالحة لكل زمان ومكان. ولما كانت معانى هذا القرآن مكنونة فى ألفاظه العربية المعجزة، تنوعت مسالك العلماء في استخراج معانيه من هذه الألفاظ، وقامت دراسات حول ألفاظه العربية؛ كي يتسنى للفقيه والمفتي والحاكم وطالب الفائدة معرفة أحكامه ومعانيه.
وقد نتج عن بعض هذه الدراسات ما يسمى بالوجوه والنظائر في القرآن الكريم التي كشفت النقاب عن المعاني المتعددة والمتجددة التي يصلح أن يدل عليها اللفظ الواحد، وكذلك المعنى الواحد الذى يصلح أن تدل عليه ألفاظ متعددة. وهذا يدل علي اتساع قاعدة الشريعة الإسلامية؛ كي تصلح لعلاج الحياة البشرية في كل مكان وزمان.
ومن أهم الكتب التي في هذا المجال، الكتاب الذى بين أيدينا "نزهة الأعين النواظر في علم الوجوه والنظائر"، فقد برع فيه الإمام العلامة ابن الجوزى، وتفنن في صنعته،حتى جمع فيه وجوها لم يسبقه إليها غيره من العلماء.
وقد ÷حببت أن أقدم لهذا الكتاب بمقدمة حول علم الوجوه والنظائر، والله الموفق.
