أناقش فى هذا الكتاب موضوعا هاما هو: (حب السادة أهل البيت) بين: التشيع، والتصوف، والتطرف. من خلال الأفكار المطروحة على الساحة حول هذا الموضوع، وهو موضوع مثار منذ أمد بعيد إلا أنه زاد طرحه فى هذه الأيام بأكثر مما كان متوقعاً وخاصة بعد هذا الانفتاح الإعلامى الرهيب. ولم يفتنى التركيز على طرح موضوع التطرف من طرفى الجدل الرئيسين: متطرفى الشيعة، ومتطرفى السنة كطرفين فاعلين، بل إنهما سببان عظيمان فى هذا الجدل الدائر حول حب السادة أهل البيت -عليهم مع جدهم أفضل الصلاة وأتم السلام- فإذا كان التيار الشيعى المتطرف مغالياً فى حب تأليه السادة، مع الانتقاص من قدر سادتنا الصحابة بل تكفير بعضهم، بالإضافة إلى سبهم، وسب بعض أمهات المؤمنين؛ فإن التيار السنى المتطرف مغالٍ في الجفاء إلى درجة تجاهل السادة، والحذر من ذكرهم أو تدريس سيرهم، والخوف من إبراز حبهم، واتهام وتكفير كثرة من محبيهم وزائريهم.
وقد حاولت فى هذا الكتاب -قدر استطاعتى- من خلال أبحاثى وكتاباتى وخطبي ودروسي أن أعرف المسلمين على شتى مشاربهم الحب الصحيح لسادتنا أهل البيت.
فهو كتاب يتناول موضوع الحب لسادتنا أهل البيت عند المتنازعين عليه، مثل: الشيعة والصوفية.
كما يتناول المختلفين فى هذا الحب مع هذين الطرفين، مثل: المتطرفين الذين ينفرون بمجرد ذكر أهل البيت.
